Spirit of the Patriot is a one man punk rock band /project formed in 2010 consisting of songwriter and performer, Stavros. SOTP’s music derives influence from many Punk Rock, Street Rock and Oi bands. The first demo, “The Future of Hellas”, was recorded for a compilation album in 2010 and received worldwide reception. SOTP then went on to record the first full length album “Freedom Fighters” which was written and recorded from 2010-2012 and released early 2012. Near the end of 2012 five songs were recorded and released on an EP entitled “Malaka…The E.P.”. From that point songs for a 2nd full length album were written and recorded and in 2013 the album “More Punk Than You” was released. Since the start SOTP has had songs featured on several compilation cds and continue to receive worldwide reception with a fan base growing throughout the US, Europe and South America.
